Know Your Vote Counts.

Floridians must be registered to vote by October 9, 2012 to cast a 2012 General Election ballot. To register, eligible Floridians voters can fill out a voter registration form online and send it to their supervisor of elections. If registered, make sure your signature and address are current. Every Florida voter can check their voter status online.

Know Your Options.

Florida voters have more options to cast a ballot than in their precinct on Election Day. Every Florida voter can request an absentee ballot and vote by mail up to a month before Election Day. Florida voters also have eight days of ‘early voting’ to cast a ballot at a polling place prior to Election Day. Ask your supervisor of elections about local times and locations.

Florida's general election ballot includes more than just candidates for office. Florida voters also have the opportunity to vote for or against 11 proposed constitutional amendments. Ask your supervisor of elections for a sample ballot to familiarize yourself with your options.
